Getting started with Mobile Banking

Follow our simple step-by-step guide to help you sail through registration and start using our Mobile Banking service.

Registering for the Nationwide Mobile Banking app couldn’t be easier and takes less than 5 minutes. You simply download it just like you would any other app - either from the App Store℠ for an iPhone® or on Google Play™ Store for an Android™ devices.

3 easy steps to register for Mobile Banking

To use the app you'll need to be an existing Internet Bank user, find out how to register for Internet Banking.

Step 1 

Visit the App Store for iPhone or Google Play store for Android devices to download our app.

Step 2

Launch our app. Enter your Nationwide customer number

Step 3

Confirm your security details using either your memorable data or card reader

You only need to register once. With each subsequent visit you’ll simply need to enter three digits from your Internet Banking passnumber.

A few things to consider before you register

  • You must have an iPhone or Android mobile phone which can connect to the internet.
  • You must be registered for the Internet Bank.
  • You must know your Internet Banking passnumber.
  • To make payments using the Nationwide Mobile Banking app, you must first have set up and made a previous payment to that payee using our Internet Bank. Find out how to set up a payment.
